Exhibit halls will be designed to immerse guests in the subject matter, creating an atmosphere that puts lends a feeling of being within and a part of the exhibit.
There will be interactive, hands-on displays within the exhibit halls, encouraging an educational and entertaining experience
We plan to show South Dakota's ancient past, as well as the more recent history of the geological area. Special exhibits will be a major part of the Museum
A working paleontology lab will be open and operating with actual paleo work being done on a daily basis. Guests may register to be a part of some projects and thus become an exhibit themselves!

Fairburn Agates, the South Dakota State Gemstone, along with many other
Black Hills agates.

The Zeitner-Roberts collection will be a must see! Great mineral specimens from the Black
Hills of South Dakota and gemstones and meteorites from localities
throughout the world.
